We have a blast exploring the world together! Whether it's trying a new hike, tasting different cuisines, or traveling to far-off places, we love discovering new experiences. We're excited for our child to join us in our adventures!

Around the world

We've been fortunate to explore a few countries together, including Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, and Italy. Our travel wish list includes destinations like Australia, Thailand, Spain, and, most notably, The Philippines, Jun's place of birth. We want to introduce our baby to Jun's extended family living there. We believe it's essential for our child to connect with Jun's roots, understand his upbringing, and forge bonds with family members residing far from our home.

Around our region

Embracing the wonders of nature is one of our shared passions, and hiking through the breathtaking Pacific Northwest tops our list. We feel blessed to call this region home, where the beauty of nature surrounds us with an abundance of hiking trails waiting to be explored. Just a few hours to the south, we can immerse ourselves in the wonderfully weird city of Portland, Oregon. A few hours north, Vancouver, Canada, has become a favorite destination for weekend getaways. Wandering these cities in search of their hidden treasures is something that never fails to fill our hearts with excitement and delight. 

Always up for adventure

We’re always open to trying new things. We love embracing new experiences and unexpected challenges. Last summer, we spotted an ad for a stand-up comedy class that started the next day. With no prior comedy experience, we leaped in, and we’ve been having a blast with it ever since! As part of our non-profit work, we were given the sudden opportunity to fly to New York and ring the opening bell for the stock market. With very little notice, we rallied some folks we know from youth groups in that area and opened the market with a message of love and acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth in faith spaces. We truly love saying ‘yes’ to life and sharing whatever adventure that brings.
