Family

Family is important to us. Through ups and downs, good times and bad, family means showing up for each other. We’re lucky to have a lot of our family nearby, and we make it a priority to spend time with them. We enjoy celebrating birthdays, holidays, and special milestones. “Family” to us isn’t just about our relatives. Many of our dear friends have grown to become some of our closest family ties.

Christmas Cabin

Drew's family has a cherished annual tradition called 'Christmas Cabin.' We look forward to it every year! The entire family escapes to a cabin, leaving behind screens and devices. We spend time playing games, cooking meals, making crafts, and catching up on life. When Jun became part of Christmas Cabin, he introduced us to a quintessential Filipino family tradition we now all love - KARAOKE!!

Visiting Family

One of our recent memories was from last Thanksgiving when we brought our extended family together. The house was abuzz with aunts, uncles, cousins, and adorable grandbabies. Seating everyone for dinner required six tables, and we enjoyed a magnificent meal that combined the best of traditional Thanksgiving food with an Italian feast, featuring meatballs, chicken parm, and Jun and Drew's famous marinara sauce. It was a vibrant and heartwarming gathering!

Our Wedding

Having our family surround us during our wedding is another special memory. Folks came from near and far to celebrate and create an unforgettable evening filled with music, laughter, and love. At the reception, Drew’s Dad shared a poem he wrote for us — which included these lines:

Some say it was meant to be, or break it down to fate.
But the way they flow together, let’s simply call it great.
Jun & Drew complement each other, they do not have to try.
They show each other sweetness without asking why.
To me they are unique and I say it out loud.
For being special people, they make me very proud.
And in ending, I would like to say this to all of you.
The blessing is that my wife and I say thanks for turning one son into two.
